"2nd time we’ve ordered and 2nd time something has been missing from our order. First time it was popadoms (we received the pickle tray), 2nd time no salad or chilli sauce with the tandoori mix grill. We live in Marsden so didn’t call to ask them to bring the small items we’d paid for, seemed a little unfair and the rest of the food would have been cold by that time... It has definitely put us off ordering from here again. Shame as the food has been really good both times."

"We've had several takeaways from Jahangir's since it opened and always been impressed. Can recommend the Butter Chicken, Shatkora, Sag Paneer and Sylheti Jalfrezi. Reasonable prices and always good service when we call & collect."

"The menu is a little different but old favourites are also available. Our mixer starter was a range of perfectly cut meats. Mains were a lamb and chicken dish which were tasty and the perfect level of spice. It was quiet but the service was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend and go again."

"Our first time eating here (take-away) and the 10% discount code didn't work. We ordered for 7pm but they rang at 17.50 to say the food was ready as they had not read the order! The food was delivered with no apology for the mix up. For starters, onion bhajis and chicken samosa...the bhajis were the worst I've ever had. Absolutely dripping in grease and falling apart. As for the samosa, God knows what they'd done to them! We both ordered curries with chicken tikka...it wasn't. Whatever it was, it wasn't fresh. If anything, I would say it was pre-cooked frozen chicken and it was appalling to say the least and should not have left their kitchen. It probably shouldn't have been in there in the first place considering what they charge! I will give them some credit though, the sauce, naan bread and chapattis were ok!! Overall, 3 out of 10."

"We went for the first time this evening pleasantly surprised At the attention and friendliness great starters but then it started to go down hill somewhat My wife ordered a daal spinach with chicken it came but with no chicken when one of the staff was called over he apologised then said we're really busy can you just eat it like that... The restaurant wasn't even half full, I asked was it because of concentrating on the takeaway side, he said yes, I said to him that the restaurant should always come first not the takeaway side and to ask someone can you just eat it like it is isn't the answer. Best of all when we got the bill it was down as a tarka daal £10 the actual menu for that meal was £8.50 so overcharged for complaining and for the chicken that wasn't there. Tbh wherever I go I usually tip quite generously but not this time as we were not impressed. Pity as we were happy with the starters etc but they spoiled it by being what we thought was a little unprofessional"
