"Booked a table on a Saturday afternoon. All ways been very happy here in the past both with food and service. (The previous guys that had it running like clock work have either left or not on shift). Anyway, the food was lovely, but the service (by the manageress) left a lot to be desired. Ordered drinks at the bar (great selection)and we were shown to our table, but after around twenty minutes, I had to find the manageress to take our food order. She was joking around with a guy at the bar. (Could understand if busy but it was very quiet.) There was a table that hadn't been cleared the whole time we were there. The younger members of staff were great! When the bill came she'd overcharged for a glass of wine. It was rectified straight away. On this occasion the professionalism that we've been used to, in the past, just wasn't there. Rather dissapointing. Hopefully it was a one off."

"One of the best steaks I've ever had in my life. Absolutely delightful. Lovely service, barely any wait on food. Found this place completely by accident whilst on way back from Yorkshire Sculpture Park and I am very very glad we did. Top notch."

"I was going for a drive and saw the Bulls head. Instantly caught my eye. We were slightly hungry so we thought we would try this place out. I’m so glad we did. The customer service and attentiveness from the staff were amazing from the offset. Harry and Natalie were simply amazing. I have a very energetic three-year-old which to say the least they helped me team and helped me with kids activities. This place is such a blessing to have them. The food was great. My husband is Moroccan so If you are a Moroccan I wouldn’t suggest a Moroccan menu as it’s more of an English type Moroccan place. Overall I would say it’s an absolutely fantastic place great ambience and fantastic chilled place to come! We definitely will return"

"Good night of food and drink at the Ego! Overall we had a really nice evening. The food was incredible and the atmosphere of the main restaurant is perfect for a birthday meal; Reasons why it didn't quite get 5 stars from me: - service was good but not great, all evening there was a kind of tension between us and out waitress, hard to describe the reasons but there was something there. - the birthday offer is for buy one get one free but it's the cheapest meal. If only two people dined then this would be the second most expensive meal free (by default) however with 5 people it was the cheapest of the 5. In my opinion it should be the second most expensive as if we split the table into a 2 and a 3 then it would be that way - the toilets are disgusting, they really need to update them to be at the same standard as the rest of the restaurant. I just hope the kitchen matches the restaurant and not the toilets in the standards"
