"I was very close to saying "it's ok, you can welcome us, do not hesitate to approach us, we are humans, born and bred in this planet ... and we come in peace". The welcomer didn't manage to force herself to smile, not a very good start indeed. Food arrived exactly 40 minutes from the point of ordering, too slow in my view, quick glance and other customers were also getting a bit restless and twiddling their thumbs. The gammon skillet was glorious, and the cheese and bacon was delicious. Nice pub inside and out, decor was nice, apart from Samantha and one other, other members of the team need to loosen up a bit and enjoy what they are doing. If you are happy or miserable, we can see it in your face and bodily gestures. Motorway was congested and alternative route brought us here which gave us a little respite from the long journey southbound. CCTV in parking area."
