"Called in on Monday 28th Nov 2022. Firstly, truly lovely team members working there. Very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help. Secondly, the place was spotless. Busy pubs can sometimes look like they need a good scrub but this pub is well cared for. Thirdly, the food. Ten stars if we could. Enjoyed every mouthful. Will definitely be returning. Thank you."

"We booked a pizza party for 12 kids and it was amazing. Sarah and her team organised such a great party and the service was amazing throughout. They called a few days to check what toppings we wanted and when we arrived the section was already decorated. I would highly recommend for a kids party as all the kids and parents loved it. Thank you."

"We had food there today (02/05/2022) not only did we wait ages for the food but when it did arrive it parts of it i couldn't even cut let alone eat, while we were eating the parts we could we watched staff preparing the food without gloves wiping their foreheads, scratching their heads and wiping their hands in their clothes and continuing to handle food bare handed. We spoke to the manager about this ( Caroline) and her response was "it comes frozen, its not the best then". To which we said that wasn't really the answer we were expecting. We were offered a pudding or another drink to which we didn't accept because we had to leave out of pure shock at the managers response!!"

"It wasn't great. The staff are not attentive and have poor table service. The food was made and sat on the side too long so when it finally made it to our table the chips were cold! We also ordered drinks which we had to physically go to the bar for because they had taken so long. When we got there the bartenders were talking and didn't realise an order had come through. The food was OK but not worth it, salad was drenched in dressing and far too much mayo, the portions are good but unfortunately poor standard of food. We won't be going again."

"Absolutely discusting went in for 3 x carvery veg was all dried up roast potatoes definitely been stood for hours..3 x meats gammon, beef, and turkey WOW what can I say burnt small left overs of gammon and beef and a turkey frame..see photos please!!! No gravy when asked for fresh veg and gravy and if any meats replied with no more meats or potatoes, but I have gravy..took almost 10mins to come out of back with no gravy..got refund !! My advice if going for a carvery please go and look at the carvery before paying."
