"Remember when the British public voted for Boaty McBoatface? Yeah well I'm trying to forget it. The Boat doesn't have any pretentions and it's not silly or clever or anything more than what it is. It's a nice pub near some boats and it's nice to get a drink or some grub there. Staff were friendly. It wasn't too busy when I visited. Nothing really more to add."

"Called for a pint while the dog had a swim in the river. It was a lovely setting and the weather was glorious which made the experience even better. Decided to have lunch here after a short walk and was not disappointed. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Three had the Hunters Chicken and I had the spicy chicken strips with curry - very nice."
