"This is our 3rd time coming here. It's a really nice place which serves excellent food and drinks. Great decor, staff, atmosphere. Car park right outside. Quite handy being not too far from the motorway. I've only taken a star off for the price. 4 of us ate here during my most recent visit and it was nearly £150. It was over £10 for a G&T. I just think some of the prices are unnecessarily high."

"A first and a last for me. The last review of 2022 and my first meal out since my bypass surgery. We were sat by the radiator, which was a bonus as it was a cold day out. The bulb in the nearest light fitting was missing, so it was slightly dark. Nice clean, warm Gastro pub, though. The food was good, but I ordered Szechuan Squid, which tasted of no spice. The mains were good. Nice attentive service. I'd still go back one day."

"I visited to try out the new menu that has arrived at the Victoria. The food, as always, was absolutely exceptional, which is a reason why it’s one of my favourite pubs.
