"Well were do I even start .So I ordered two mixed meals fried chicken and mutton and oxtail and fried chicken and none of them make one .The rice was hard and tasted burnt like it was pot bottom (bun-bun) how can you possibly serve and sell this to customers with their hard earned money .furthermore the oxtail was too too salty so I tried my luck with the mutton and it was wayyyyy too salty .This food was INSIPID and wasn't edible to me ,my tastebuds are now stunted. Very disappointed. But it's my fault I should of looked at the rating and saw that it was rated a 2 .What a shame ! (But wait unuh nuh easy for me to post have to at least rate it one start after when I don't mean it )"
"Ordered this yesterday evening. I got a mixed meal; jerk chicken and mutton, the mutton they served was completely boney with no meat on the bone and the rice was hard and stale. My partner ordered the mutton portion which came with better quality meat. About an hour after eating this I was violently sick and couldn't keep any other food down until it was all gone. Both me and my partner couldn't sleep at all due to severe stomach cramping and belly pains. I'm really dissapointed as me and my family have been a long term customers.... SORT IT OUT I've never experienced food poisoning from a restaurant before, its absolutely disgraceful. Just reading other reviews and you have a 2* rating for hygiene.... explains a lot."
"I have NEVER, in my life, felt so ripped off. How on earth can they try to justify calling this dish a PLATTER? 8 prawns and 3 tablespoons of rice - with a tomato and a few grapes??? Furthermore, how can they justify charging TWENTY POUNDS for what appears to be less than a children's portion? There was more thyme stalks than there was rice. The tray was massive and contained a little bit of food, it's an absolute disgrace. It was even more laughable (although I was livid at the time) when I transferred the travesty to a plate to warm it up in the microwave... because it arrived COLD! Talk about adding insult to injury All of this AFTER turning up 30 mins late and the order was about as cold as a body in a morgue freezer. What an absolute liberty! Tried to call numerous times and had no answer. They were probably busy adding GRAPES as a garnish to other people's meals they've disrespected. The only positive is that the few tablespoons of rice was flavoursome, but the prawns were very overcooked - it was a struggle to remove the shell and I had to scrape the black line out of them before eating (if you know, you know). Very disappointed! What a discredit to the Caribbean community. Going by first impressions, I will NEVER order from here again. They're lucky I'd had a drink or I'd have been straight in the car to take it straight back. Applied for refund via just eat. Thanks for the sampler, I guess."
"I've tried the curry mutton and the jerk chicken on different occasions and they were both good. There is a decent amount of meat in both for the price. The fried dumplings are okay. £9 for the large is quite steep (on UberEats). Can't comment on the service because I've only ordered through a delivery app. Will definitely continue to order again."
