"Friendly staff and very helpful. Food was mixed. I had the sticky chicken, side salad and fries. I think the chicken was nice and I am certain that the sticky coating was delicious. The uncertainty about the chicken is because of the amount of sticky coating. The green salad was delicious with a very lovely dressing. No sense of being rushed even though there was always a queue and the red wine was good and I applaud the habit of supplying a glass of water alongside. The coffee came in a glass that was too hot to hold at first but the coffee was good once it had cooled. The price was fine."
"Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the service today and just had to put this review up tonight. The only star is because of the other servers and kitchen staff who I'm sure are being worked to the bone and deserve some respect. The manager or usher at the time of my experience at 17:20 on 07/02/2023 named Shazia from what I gathered. Offered me a table, asked if I had allergies etc. Then explained the QR code was for ordering food which was fine. The website was not working, therefore I asked if I could order with her instead ( after which I had set up my laptop and become comfortable etc). She then proceeded to tell me to move to another table a mere 3 meters away as the table I was sat at was for QR code users only (very rudely might I add). I said that she didn't explain that to me at the start and it's not my fault the website isn't working! Which in essence is not true as the person behind me ordered food with another waitor without the qr code! Honestly! I managed to get the website to load and order, but took a good 20 min, all the while being ignored. Felt like leaving but didn't have much time until my flight so tried anyway since I had some work to do. The attitude and lack of customer service of the manager at this time and lack of staff at the Manchester branch is just a joke. I won't be returning and will be mentioning this to everyone I know to stay clear. Pity since I travel through Manchester airport every week! Loss of business from incompetent staff! Hope you figure something out Giraffe HQ as your waiters and waitresses are so good! Get a better manager though!!!!"

"Disappointing Veggie breakfast. Veggie sausages are incredibly dense, the avocado smash just didn’t quite go flavour wise (strong lemon. Would go with other dishes better) and very cold, mushrooms were watery and the taste was bad, tomatoes flavourless, hash browns were nice to be fair. No beans or toast! Which it did miss. If you wanted those it’s £2.25 extra for beans and £2.75 for toast. Other places in the airport seem to include those so pick elsewhere for a breakfast option. All other dishes and drinks were just overpriced too really. On the upside we had really quick service, nice staff, and a clean restaurant. However the waitress did say they were short staffed - which other reviewers have noticed. Side note, hilariously small knife and fork. Child size."
"Tooo few staff, frantically trying to stay on top of things. I counted a dozen empty tables, nearly half not cleared or cleaned. I have eaten at this establishment several times with good healthy options but these options were limited today. Surely if the airport Management and Airlines are forecasting busy periods, its possible to staff and stock accordingly. With the que outside the restaurant and then to order, then to wait for the food we're talking more than 1/2 an hour which isn't acceptable at a fast food airport location. Purely down to poor Management and don't blame covid, this is not a new thing anymore.. The star you get is for the graft the unlucky guys get for such hard work! PS - Cold hard eggs went back!"
