German Doner Kebab Garfield Court, Stockport SK1 2ED

"I decided to try this place due to recommendations of close friends. I'm not a huge lover of donner kebabs but fancied a chance. I ordered beef as recommended and was pleasantly surprised. I am not a donner kebab lover but for the reasons that do not apply here. The kebab was not at all greasy and the sauces are to the side allowing me to control them myself. The other half had a chicken kebab which was closer to a swarmar and she also enjoyed that too. The reason I rated 3 stars is cost and cost alone. 2 moderately sizes kebabs, 2 very small chip portions, 2 cans of drink and a couple spring rolls cost £27 (extra £1 of chip spices), it's extremely poor value. Cost aside its 5 stars for me, but price has to be considered and £27 I can get me much better options."

"It's just meh. Not terrible, but not brilliant. It's hard to really dislike when it's meat (or meat substitute), sauce laden salad and bread, it's a good combo. However, I didn't think it was good value for money at £10-£11 per person for the meal deal. The portion size was decent, but I can't get past how bland it all was. It's not a patch on some of the döner places you can find in Germany. I would also suggest not wasting your money on anything other than plain chips because the coatings they used for the chili fries and curry fries were mostly salt."

"I went there after looking at all the reviews. I was not disappointed. The German doner was good. The bread was really good and soft. The doner meat and the fries were ok. I paid around £10 for one person which I think is slightly expensive for the food that you get. Would recommend of you wanna try something new!"

"Awesome place to have chicken kebabs . I visited couple of times based on a friend recommendation , nice food . Helpful staff. Lots of parking outside . Can order at machines or at counter. Lots of place for dine in . Affordable prices."
