"One star is too good. Had a chicken burger and golden chips. The burger was as tuff as old boots obviously microwaved as the edge's were solid. The crispy salad was soggy with no tomatoe as discribed. The chips were certainly not golden. Never again.."
"I ordered the tofu hotpot and the beef bulgogi, both were quite good. Just the sauce in the bulgogi was a tiny bit sweet but that's just my own preference."
"Hour late, stone cold, soggy mess. The "popcorn" cauliflower was drowned in sauce, cold and soggy, the chips were room temperature and about the only thing edible once I had put them in the oven for a bit, but by then they were dried out and not so fab. May has well have flushed my money down the toilet."
"We orderer a couple of Bibimbap rice bowls on Saturday evening. This was the second time we ordered from Seoul Street Shack and remembered that the first it was beautifully presented as well as delicious. When our order arrived, we were disappointed to see a plastic tray with 2 compartments. One filled with rice and the other one with a few bits of meat. Nothing else apart from the sauce which had leaked in the bag. We called the restaurant to express our disappointment. The person I spoke to was rude, patronising and sarcastic, asking me to bring the food back if I was not happy. I said no and even explained that we can’t go out because we have a baby. His reply was “ Bring the baby or find a nanny” . I explained that what we ordered was supposed to be Salt and Pepper chicken and should have veg, pickles, kimchi. They were all missing and the chicken was not salt and pepper. His answer was “The price of meat has gone up”. I asked for a refund and was offered to come and eat at the restaurant for 50% off. Once again I explained that going out with a baby was difficult for us. The person on the phone passed over the manager who offered 50% refund. I declined and wanted a full refund which he agreed. 5 minutes later, a driver was at my door to collect the food."
"One of the worst takeaway experiences I have had. Order was over an hour late, when it finally arrived over half of the meals were stone cold. Matters were made worse when I called to try and resolve the situation. The takeaway claimed, as I had ordered the food via Stockport Eats that any refund had to go through them, having spoken to Stockport Eats they have confirmed this is untrue. I spoke to DAN THE SUPERVISOR at the takeaway who was rude, sarcastic and passive aggressive and again, told lies saying he was not the right person to speak to as he does not have the authority. Stockport Eats have directed me to DAN as he is apparently the person that deals with these concerns. The takeaway took no responsibility at all blaming the drivers, Stockport Eats and the system allowing me to make an order of the size I did. Awful business with no customer service skills at all. If anyone went to a restaurant, ordered a meal and it was stone cold on arrival would you not send it back or not want to pay? Would should this be any different? AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY."
