"The food: Had a weekend late veg breakfast. It was tasty and the portions were generous. I'm not a big eater so I couldn't finish it as it had (almost) two of everything: sausages, eggs, hash browns, toast, beans, a veg fritter (black pudding alternative), half a tomato and mushrooms. The smaller breakfast has one of each and would have been a better choice for me. The price difference is around £1- £1.50 and hence easily tempting even if you're not hungry! I had a flat white with my food but it appeared to be extremely foamy like cappuccino. I reluctantly mentioned this to the girl at the till - who wasn't the same girl that had taken our order initially. She willingly made a fresh coffee without a fuss. The staff: Friendly and efficient. The cafe: The cafe and the farm shop are within one building; the decor is charmingly reminiscent of a barn. Bonus: The friendly farm cat was pleasantly surprising, weaving in & out under tables, generally hanging out and even allowing a couple of pets!"
"I just adored this place. I took my mum to have a little look around the shop but we seen the food and decided to eat aswel. I had the cheesy cow burger, wow what a burger, delicious, whilst my mum had the soup of the day which was yummy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the cafe and shop. A great selection of produce and all reasonably priced. We grabbed a icecream on the way out which was lovely. Can't recommend this place enough. We shall be back."
"Come for the views, stay for the burger. We went for lunch on a nice Saturday. The views are amazing and the food was even better. We ordered the cheesy cow burger and it was outstanding. The cheese and onion fritter just oozed melted cheese. The beef is top quality. Absolutely stuffed. Had some superb ice cream after. Rum & Raisin and espresso for me, chocolate for my wife. Will definitely be back."
