"Been several times for breakfast. Overall, it's nice. Great setting in the garden centre, lovely decor. Cakes are massive, tasty and good value. Breakfast is nice, apple pancakes are the best thing on the menu. Unfortunately some of the staff let it down. There's an attitude from the main waiter that always comes through every time we see him, abrupt and a bit cold. Feel unwelcome. Staff stand chatting and ignore the chef when he rings the service bell, so people's food is going cold while they finish their chat. Last cooked breakfast I had the potatoes had been replaced with hash browns but no warning etc. Has so much potential but feel like it's poorly managed."
"We went here last weekend and the service was very slow. We sat down and no one took our order for a while, then waited for a long time for the drinks followed by a long time for food. It was very busy in there, with only a few people serving so I think they probably need more staff. When I received my breakfast the hash browns were missing and the toast was burned. Not very impressed by this, as last time the service and food was excellent and it's a pricey breakfast so I would expect good quality service and food. The homemade cakes are delicious though."
