Townsville Little Theatre

Located at 287 Sturt Street in Townsville City, our establishment is a point of interest for theater enthusiasts and those interested in the arts. Currently, we are thrilled to present our latest production, "Guards! Guards!" adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs based on the Discworld novel by Sir Terry Pratchett. Set in the whimsical world of Discworld, where million-to-one chances work nine times out of ten, the Ankh-Morpork City Night Watch, under the leadership of Captain Sam Vimes, navigates the day-to-day (or rather, night-to-night) business of policing. However, an unusual murder and a baffling murder weapon set the Watch on a thrilling chase throughout the city, including the enigmatic Assassins' Guild. As the truth unravels, Sam and his team, including a woman for diversity reasons, find themselves facing off against powerful forces. Fortunately, the long-lost King of Ankh-Morpork is on their side. Don't miss this captivating production on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th, Friday 29th, and Saturday 30th at 7.30pm at PIMPAC (Pimlico High School Performing Arts Centre, Fulham Road).
